Primary Teacher Job - Darwen
We are recruiting for a talented and committed Primary Teacher to join a mainstream primary school in Darwen for the 2026/2027 academic year. Beginning after the October half-term break, this role is covering a maternity leave and offers the chance to become an integral member of a welcoming school community.
This opportunity is suitable for experienced teachers and motivated Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are passionate about delivering outstanding education.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver creative and engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.
- Support pupils in achieving their academic and personal potential.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively.

Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within a UK primary school.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum planning and assessment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
