Fully Qualified English Teacher – Secondary School – Wembley, Brent

Position: English Teacher (QTS Required)
Location: Wembley, Brent, London
Start Date: ASAP 
Contract Type: Full-time
Salary: Paid to Scale

Teaching Personnel is seeking a fully qualified English Teacher (QTS) to join the dedicated staff of a vibrant secondary school based in Wembley, Brent. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced English specialist who is passionate about delivering high-quality education and inspiring a love of language and literature in young people.

About the Role:

  • Full-time teaching position in a key stage 3 and 4 setting

  • Deliver engaging and effective English lessons aligned with the national curriculum

  • Work collaboratively within a supportive department

  • Plan, mark, and assess student work, contributing to their academic progress

  • Participate in school life, including staff meetings and parent evenings

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential

  • Previous secondary school teaching experience in the UK

  • Excellent subject knowledge of English Language and Literature

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • A genuine passion for teaching and raising attainment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
