KS2 Intervention Teacher required, Manchester Primary School, M16

-          Interventions Teacher Required – KS2

-          ‘OUTSTANDING’ Primary School, East Manchester, M16

-          Full time position, March 2021 Start 

A client school in Old Trafford, Manchester (M16) are seeking a full time interventions teacher to join their KS2 team on a full time basis. The school are looking for a dedicated teacher who has experience delivering effective intervention sessions to selected children to help raise attainment in core subjects areas. This is a full time, KS2 intervention teacher post which will start in September and will run for the full academic year.

The ideal candidate will be expected to plan the intervention sessions with the class teacher in accordance with the curriculum whilst monitoring, assessing and highlighting next steps for learning. To be considered you will have recent and relevant KS2 teaching experience.

This two form entry primary school was rated ‘GOOD’ at its last OFSTED inspection and was praised for the ‘OUSTANDING’ teaching and learning. Ofsted stated ‘members of staff work closely together to create a warm and supportive environment for the children’. The school are looking for an enthusiastic practitioner who is looking for a full time intervention teaching role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
