  • Temporary role.
  • SEN Provision in Preston (PR1).
  • Start date: Monday 6th November.
  • Pay rate: £110 - £160 per day.

An SEN provision in Preston is seeking a passionate Intervention Teacher who can plan and deliver high quality lessons for KS1 and KS2 students, following the national curriculum closely yet adhering to any Educational Health Care Plans when necessary.

Your working day will involve taking small classes and delivering additional support lessons in a creative and forward-thinking way, creating a positive learning environment for all pupils. You will also provide general support with the development of social and emotional skills and encourage positive behaviours, relationships, and outcomes.  

Class sizes are generally small with learning led by yourself outside of the classroom. As this can be a challenging environment you will ideally have experience in this sector and have worked with challenging individuals.

The ideal candidate will have hold QTS (or equivalent) and have a strong subject knowledge for KS1 and KS2. The school are open to various experience and try and recruit based on the unique skills a candidate can bring to the role, giving their pupils exposure to new experiences.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
