Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking to make a real impact in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs? A mixed primary and secondary SEN School in Blackpool is seeking a Teacher to join their team on an agency basis, supporting a Year 11 class with mixed abilities and a variety of SEN needs, including ASD and SEMH needs.
Ideally the school are hoping to appoint a fully qualified teacher with experience working with Specialist Provision however they have said they are open minded with regards to the applicants as to whether they are ECTs, RQTs and/or experienced FQTs. You would be working within a secondary class however the school have said an individual with primary experience would be considered due to the cohort.
Within this role, you would be working closely with support assistants within class and appropriately adapting the medium-term plans for the needs of the children in class. Each learner’s individual needs are taken into consideration when learning which ensures all the needs of every child are effectively met.
The Role:
Position: SEN Teacher (Year 10/11).
Location: Mixed primary and secondary SEN School, Blackpool, FY3.
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:45 AM – 3:45 PM).
Duration: Until Summer, with potential for extension and a permanent opportunity.
Pay: Competitive.
What are we looking for?:
A passionate and adaptable teacher with experience or a keen interest in working with SEN students.
Ability to support students with ASD, SEMH, and other learning needs.
Strong classroom management and differentiation skills to meet diverse learning needs.
ECTs and fully qualified teachers are welcome to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
