Contract Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday), agency basis with potential permanent contract

Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience and qualifications)

We are seeking a committed and adaptable Teacher to join our specialist SEMH secondary school in Blackpool (FY4). As a Teacher in our school, you will:

• Deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

• Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment.

• Build positive, trusting relationships with students who may have experienced trauma or barriers to education.

• Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and leadership to meet students’ academic and emotional needs.

• Contribute to curriculum development and the wider school community.

What we are looking for:

• Fully qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with experience in mainstream or specialist settings.

• Has strong behaviour management skills and a trauma-informed approach.

• Demonstrates patience, creativity, and flexibility in their teaching.

• Is committed to inclusive education and the belief that every child can achieve.

• Has a good understanding of SEMH and additional needs (experience is desirable but not essential).
