Location: Blackpool, FY4
Contract Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday), agency basis with potential permanent contract
Start Date: September 2025 or ASAP
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience and qualifications)

We are seeking a committed and adaptable Teacher to join our specialist SEMH secondary school in Blackpool (FY4). As a Teacher in our school, you will:

Deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment.

Build positive, trusting relationships with students who may have experienced trauma or barriers to education.

Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and leadership to meet students’ academic and emotional needs.

Contribute to curriculum development and the wider school community.
What we are looking for:
-
Fully qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with experience in mainstream or specialist settings.

Has strong behaviour management skills and a trauma-informed approach.

Demonstrates patience, creativity, and flexibility in their teaching.

Is committed to inclusive education and the belief that every child can achieve.

Has a good understanding of SEMH and additional needs (experience is desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
