Headteacher Opportunity – Lead, Inspire, Transform
Location: Cambridgeshire, CB24
Salary: Group L6B–L18 | £58,569 – £77,924 per annum
Contract Type: Full-time | Permanent
Start Date: 1st September - Christmas 2025 with a potential extension

We are seeking an exceptional Headteacher to join one of the schools in Cambridgeshire, part of the Diocese of Ely Multi Academy Trust (DEMAT). This is a unique opportunity to lead a school with a strong Christian ethos, committed staff, and a community that values excellence in education.
As Headteacher, you will:

✅ Lead strategic development, ensuring the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning across the school.
✅ Inspire and support staff, pupils, and families to work together towards shared goals.

We’re looking for someone who:

Is a qualified teacher with substantial leadership experience in primary education

Has a strong record of school improvement and raising achievement

Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, organisational, and strategic skills

Is passionate about inclusion, wellbeing, and safeguarding
-
Can work effectively with Trust leaders, governors, parents, and the wider community
