IT/ECDL Teacher required for Tameside

  • Full time post teaching ECDL
  • Fixed term contract to July 2017
  • Teaching in an all boys Secondary school where you will be well supported

All Boys school in Tameside are currently looking for a teacher that specialises in the delivery, invigilation and moderation of ECDL.

This will be a fixed term ECDL teaching post initially on a fixed term contract to July. Larger then average sized school you will be well supported throughout the post by senior leaders and the IT department. The ideal ECDL teacher will have a proven track record of raising attainment across KS3 and KS4, get fully involved within the department and additional responsibilities that go hand in and with the role.

In their latest examinations 59% of students achieved at least 5 A*-C grades, consistently above national averages and standards. With the new floor levels of Progress 8 being introduced in September this is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact within the school and department.

Located in Tameside the school has bus and train stops within minutes and can be located just off the M60 and M67. ECDL teachers looking to apply are encouraged to do so straight away to be considered as the school have pre arranged trial days involving a lesson observation and interview.

You will be expected to be available for full time work and to fully commit to the role to help raise attainment across both key stages. A requirement for this post is QTS status, school based teaching references and a fully enhanced DBS.
