The Role:
Our client school in Basingstoke are looking for an ICT teacher to teach 5 days a week in their school starting after October half term. The applicant will need to be flexible as well as passionate to teach students in both KS3 and KS4. You will be expected to teach whole classes, plan and mark homework and class work, work fairly and firmly with your pupils to ensure that they achieve the correct level of attainment. We would be looking for a teacher who preferably has a proven track record for raising attainment across the class and has the stats and figures to back up this claim.
The School
The school are currently "Require Improvement" and we often find that this is a great way to help bolster your career as the next Ofsted report is likely to improve judging on the way we have seen the staff and senior leadership team react to the Ofsted report. Ofsted also said " Pupils are proud of their school. They are smartly dressed and respectful towards staff and visitors alike."
The school has great transport links with access via the M3 to Reading Southampton and London. They also have regular local bus routes and a Train station with regular services.
