ICT and Business Teacher

An opportunity has arisen at a school in Macclesfield for an IT and Business teacher to join the teaching staff on a temporary basis. The position will focus on the delivery of high quality lessons in both IT and Business. As this role is a multi-subject position, it is crucial that the required applicant will be able to implement a versatile approach, that teaching children across a broad range of ages and abilities.

The requirements of this role are as follows:

• The applicant must be educated to degree level (preferably within either IT, Business or a related subject)
• Must have a proven track record in the delivery of school curriculum across both subjects.
• Be able to manage behavioural expectations in line with school policy, as well as ensuring that pupils are adhering to school policy.
• Be able to offer consistent feedback to subject leaders/senior leadership as and when is necessary.
• Hold the necessary attributes to be able to efficiently work with children with SEN, as well as those requiring EAL support.
• Be able to track day to day factors regarding attendance, examination preparation, in-class assessment as well as managing any pastoral issues that may arise.

This role will commence after the Easter break, and will run through until the end of the academic year. There may be potential for this position to run until the end of the academic year.

• Receiving regular training and constant personal development from training provided at the school.
• Working with children across a broad range of ages, abilities and ethnicities.
• Pay between GBP24,373 and GBP41,490 based on prior experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
