Humanities Teacher

Are you an accomplished Teacher of Humanities looking for a new role for the new academic year?

Do you specialise in either History and/or Geography and would like a new challenge?

 

Teaching Personnel are actively recruiting a Humanities Teacher for one of our client schools in central Nottingham. The school is new and modern, located within 20 minutes of Nottingham City Centre, with excellent public and private transport links.

The school has on-site parking.

About the role:

  • Beginning September 2020
  • Teach History or Geography up to KS4
  • Teach either History or Geography to KS3
  • Full time role until January, with the potential to be extended
  • Possibility to deliver GCSE booster sessions & interventions for underachieving pupils
  • Manage challenging behaviour in the classroom

Candidate Requirements:

  • Hold UK recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching History or Geography within a Secondary school environment
  • Ability or willingness to teach a second Humanities subject to KS3
  • DBS on the Update Service
  • Patient, motivated and passionate

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
