Job description

Are you a passionate educator with a love for History, Geography, or Religious Education? Secondary schools across Bolton are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Humanities Teachers to join their teams from September 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
You’ll plan and deliver creative, curriculum-based lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, support student progress, and contribute to the wider school life. Building strong relationships with students and staff will be key to your success.

We are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Has a strong subject knowledge in one or more Humanities subjects

  • Is confident in managing classroom behaviour and engaging students

  • Is committed to helping every student reach their potential

  • Brings energy, organisation, and a positive mindset to the role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
