Geography Teacher

Are you a passionate and dedicated Geography teacher looking for a rewarding new opportunity? A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Bury is seeking a full-time Geography Teacher to join their Humanities department from September 2025.

This role is ideal for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to complete their induction in a supportive school environment.

About the Role:

• Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, following an engaging and inclusive curriculum.

• Inspire students to explore the world, both physical and human, and help them develop critical thinking and map-reading skills.

• Use innovative strategies to ensure excellent progress for all pupils.

• Work closely with the Humanities department to share resources and contribute to planning.

• Play a full role in the wider school community, including parent's evenings and extracurricular activities.

What We Are Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

• Specialism or strong experience in teaching Geography

• A passion for education and the ability to motivate young people

• Excellent subject knowledge and behaviour management skills

• Willingness to support and be supported as part of a team
