Geography Teacher

One of our partnered secondary schools are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated geography teacher to join their outstanding geography department this September. Our school is located in Rochdale; it is largely accessible therefore perfect for anyone living in surrounding areas.

Candidates must be a qualified teacher with a PGCE, and able to teach at KS3 and KS4 level. Newly qualified and experienced teachers are both welcome to apply for the role. It is a full-time position, with progression oppertunities. The school holds outstanding department resources accessible to all staff, with personal development opportunities. The successful candidate will have to keep up to date with national changes in line with the national curriculum.

All pay scales will be adhered to.

Key responsibilities:

• Create lesson plans and deliver effectively to students
• Set and mark lesson related homework, challenging their skills and knowledge
• Monitor student progress through grading and reports
• Identify and provide individual help for those who may need it
