Location: North-East Manchester
Salary: £32,000 – £47,000 (Depending on experience)
Are you a qualified Geography teacher seeking a new and exciting opportunity in 2025? We’re currently recruiting for a dedicated and inspiring Geography Teacher to join a well-regarded, Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ secondary school in the North-East Manchester area.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, engaging Geography lessons that cater to a range of student abilities

Inspire curiosity and a love for the subject through innovative teaching and real-world connections

Support student achievement by preparing them effectively for exams and assessments

Contribute to the ongoing development of the Geography curriculum and departmental resources
What We’re Looking For:

A passion for Geography and a commitment to inspiring young minds

Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Strong subject knowledge and the ability to plan and deliver effective lessons

A degree in Geography (or a related field) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Essential Requirements:

Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Two recent references covering the past 24 months

Availability for interviews and/or trial days

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
