Humanities Intervention Teaching Assistant – Secondary School (Wythenshawe)
Start Date: September | Daily Rate: £89.38 – £100 | Full-Time
Are you passionate about History, Geography, or RE and eager to support young people in their learning? A dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Wythenshawe is seeking a Humanities Intervention Teaching Assistant to join their team in September.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong academic background in the humanities who enjoys helping students develop their critical thinking, writing, and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group interventions across Humanities subjects

Support students in understanding key concepts and developing exam techniques
-
Work closely with classroom teachers to tailor learning support

Help students engage with curriculum content and improve confidence

Track and report on student progress and engagement
Requirements:

Strong academic background in Humanities (History, Geography, or RE preferred)
-
Experience working with young people or in an educational setting
-
Excellent communication skills and a patient, encouraging attitude

Organised, reliable, and committed to inclusive learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
