HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) – Full Time
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract Type: Full Time, Temporary, Permanent
Salary: Dependent on experience and qualifications
Are you an experienced and enthusiastic HLTA looking to make a real difference in a vibrant and supportive primary school community? We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team in Corby, working across all year groups to support teaching and learning.
About the Role:
As an HLTA, you will:

Lead whole-class sessions in the absence of the teacher
-
Deliver planned learning activities to individuals, small groups, and whole classes
-
Support children with a range of learning needs
-
Work closely with class teachers to assess progress and adapt teaching accordingly
-
Play a key role in raising pupil achievement and promoting positive behaviour
We are looking for someone who:

Holds HLTA status (or has equivalent experience)
-
Has experience working across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
-
Demonstrates a flexible, proactive, and positive approach
-
Has strong interpersonal and communication skills
-
Is committed to inclusive education and safeguarding
