Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Full Time
Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent or Temporary
Salary: Based on experience and qualifications
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our friendly and supportive team in a welcoming primary school in Kettering.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development and is confident delivering lessons and interventions in the absence of the class teacher.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups
-
Support class teachers in planning, assessing, and delivering high-quality learning
-
Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups, including SEND pupils
-
Contribute to the development of resources and classroom displays
-
Support pupil behaviour, engagement, and well-being throughout the school day
We are looking for someone who:
-
Holds HLTA status or equivalent qualification
-
Has experience working across Key Stages (EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2)
-
Is confident managing a whole class in the teacher’s absence
-
Has a proactive, flexible and positive attitude
-
Is committed to inclusion, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
