  • Leading and implementing intervention strategies to re-engage students.

  • Assisting in the delivery of vocational lessons, particularly in hair and beauty, and construction.

  • Supporting students in gaining practical skills relevant to real-world career pathways.

  • Working collaboratively with staff to foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience working with secondary-aged students, especially those with social, emotional, or behavioural needs.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport.

  • Confidence supporting students in both classroom and hands-on vocational sessions.

  • A nurturing, patient approach and a genuine desire to make a positive difference.

  • Flexibility, resilience, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic educational environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated HLTA who wants to be part of a dedicated team making a real impact in young people’s lives. Applications are welcomed from individuals ready to inspire, support, and guide students as they work toward brighter futures.
