Would you enjoy working in an oversubscribed Secondary School with Ofsted rated ‘Good’?

This Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school is in Northampton; they are looking for a passionate and dynamic teacher to join the History department.

The school celebrated some fantastic results in 2018 showing improvement across the curriculum at GCSE and A level, a testament to the hard work and commitment of the staff and students. We are very proud of all the students and have high expectations and aspirations for them.” – Principle.

  • You would be teaching across the key stages: KS3 – KS5.
  • This is a long term, permanent role starting in September 2020.
  • You will be joining a school that often exceeds expectations for both results and teaching standards.
  • KS4 exam board Edexcel; KS5 exam board OCR.
  • You will be joining an exciting and collaborative department who run CPD sessions to enhance both their subject knowledge and teaching practice.   
  • This role is suitable for both NQTs and experienced teachers.

The school is in Northamptonshire; year after year is oversubscribed and is graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted.  This is a very popular school and history is an extremely popular subject across both all key stages – the appointed teacher must guarantee they are passionate about the subject. 

The school values its diverse community and has over 1300 pupils on roll.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
