History Teacher

History teacher required to work within a medium sized secondary school in the heart of Warrington. This traditional mixed comprehensive school have an ethos for self development and ensuring good practice is shared throughout the Humanities department.

This is a full time History teaching post with the successful Historian delivering KS3/KS4 History up to GCSE Level so previous experience of this is essential.

Academically the school achieves above national averages so there will be an expectation for the incoming. 35% of students are eligible for free school meals in this diverse catchment area, low levels of student show use English as an additional language with above average levels of students who have special educational needs.

Located in the heart of Warrington the secondary school can be easily located from Central Manchester, with many Bus stop and train station close by. The History department has 3 full time teachers and a successful and thriving History department.
