Are you a History Teacher looking for a new opportunity? Teaching Personnel are seeking an History teacher to start ASAP in one of our Ofsted graded ‘Good’ partner schools.

Due to a staff absence, the start date for this position is immediate. This is a temporary role, with the opportunity to extend to a permanent position for the right candidate.

Role details:

  • Deliver engaging History lessons to meet the needs of students at various levels of learning
  • Teaching Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Plan, deliver and mark History lessons
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing effective strategies for improvement
  • Extra-curricular involvement opportunities
  • Pay to scale
  • Full-time

Requirements:

  • A passion for History education
  • Hold UK QTS
  • Previous experience teaching GCSE level
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Will have excellent subject knowledge and a desire to provide the best education to pupils

The History department are seeking an educator who is passionate about History and inclusivity, catering to the needs of all learners.

This school is located in Shevington, with transport links from surrounding areas Standish , Orell and Hindley.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
