As the successful History Teacher you will have the ability to instill a passion in young minds to want to find out more of their ancestral roots and key events throughout time that has developed their present and potentially their future. Being creative with lesson planning and delivery of the subject to support all pupils thirst for knowledge.

You will join a fantastic humanities department with a strong team that is well respected throughout the school. The Head of Humanities is an approachable and reliable source of information and help, especially to NQTs. The school require a History Teacher to work across the three Key Stages including teaching at A Level. There will be the chance to join the history teams regular days out to places of historical interest in the U.K. The Humanities department have a strong tradition of academic success, which the appointed History Teacher will need to uphold through delivering lessons of outstanding quality.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
