History Teacher
Manchester

Our client school in South Manchester are looking for a History Teacher to join their dedicated team of staff who are committed to achievement, attainment and progress in all areas.

  • Full time role commencing in September 2019
  • Opportunity to gain a school contract through an introduction by Teaching Personnel
  • Salary to reflect MPS/UPS (£23,720 - £39,406)
  • Suitable for experienced teachers and NQT's looking to being their teaching career.

Due to an open vacancy, our client school in South Manchester are looking for a committed and hard working teacher of History to join their dedicated and expanding Humanities department from September 2019. The successful teacher will be a specialist in History and will deliver inspiring and engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The ability to also be able to teach Geography at Key Stages 3 and 4 is desirable but is not essential for this role. The successful teacher will join a highly committed team and will be delivering a curriculum where collaboration and team work is essential.

We are looking for a passionate teacher that has high standards of teaching and learning. The successful History teacher will be motivated and will have a genuine desire to improve outcomes for all students.

Our client school is a thriving secondary school with just under 800 pupils on roll located in South Manchester. The school is just a short drive from the city centre and is easily accessible via public transport and Metrolinks. The school also has a large car park for all staff members. The school has become the local secondary provider of choice at the heart of the community and has been on an amazing journey to improve education for all of their students. The school recently received an excellent Ofsted which commented on its 'Outstanding' features for teaching and pastoral support.
