History Teacher required at Secondary School in Central Manchester

Are you a passionate and qualified History Teacher looking for a new opportunity in Central Manchester? We are currently seeking a dedicated History Teacher to join the dynamic team at a well-respected client secondary school in the heart of Manchester.

The position will start in May and run full-time until Christmas 2024. The school is under a 10-minute walk from the closest tram stop and also boasts a large onsite car park for members of staff with a vehicle.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach History to students at Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Plan engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to students’ varying abilities
  • Collaborate with the Humanities Department
  • Potentially assist in teaching Geography and Religious Education

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified teacher with UK QTS or equivalent
  • Located in Manchester
  • Possess an enhanced child workforce DBS check registered with the Update Service
  • Provide two employment-based references covering the last two years of work history or education-based experience within the last ten years

Salary:

In line with Teacher Pay Scale, ranging from M1 to UPS3.

School Rating:

OFSTED graded ‘good’ school with positive behaviour standards.
