Job description

Job Title: History Teacher

Location:

South West England, Dorset, Bournemouth

Salary:

£180 - £232 Per day

Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging history lessons to students
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress
  • Provide constructive feedback to students
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • Collaborate with colleagues on educational projects

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Education:

Degree in History or related field

Experience:

Prior teaching experience in history

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong subject knowledge in history
  • Effective classroom management skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate qualification in Education

Working Conditions:

Full-time position, typical school hours, term-time only

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
