Higher Level Teaching Assistant

HLTA needed in Plymouth

Our client school based in Plymouth are seeking a dedicated and skilled HLTA to support students in the year 3 class. Our client school who are part of a growing MAT require a passionate HLTA with extensive classroom experience who is capable of supporting a wide range of students of mixed abilities.

Successful applicants will:

• Hold a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant qualification

•Have 6 months experience of supporting young people with additional needs, including Autism, Learning Difficulties and Physical Disabilities

•Be able to liaise with other staff members to ensure the best education is being delivered to pupils in your care

• Be calm, caring and efficient when dealing with pupils going into crisis mode

• Hold a Child Only DBS registered to the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
