Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for flexible work opportunities in North Yorkshire and surrounding areas? Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: North Yorkshire and Surrounding Areas
Salary: £85 - £100 per day (Dependent on Experience)
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role:
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will provide valuable support to teachers and students across a range of subjects and age groups. You will have the opportunity to lead small groups, deliver lessons, and provide targeted intervention to support student learning and development. This role offers flexibility and variety, allowing you to work in different schools and classrooms while making a positive impact on students' education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate small group activities and interventions under the direction of the classroom teacher.
- Support the delivery of lessons across a range of subjects and age groups, providing assistance to students as needed.
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Prepare and organize resources and materials for lessons and activities, ensuring they are accessible and appropriate for students' needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to implement individualized support plans and meet the diverse needs of students.
Requirements:
- Experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or similar role in a school setting.
- Availability for more than 3 days per week.
- Willingness to travel more than 10 miles to reach schools in North Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
- Enhanced Child Workforce DBS clearance or willingness to apply for one.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability and flexibility to work in different school environments and with diverse student populations.
