We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and progressive school environment.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education and eager to make a lasting impact. You’ll be part of a team that values creativity, resilience, and inclusion, ensuring every child receives the support they need to succeed.

About the Role

You’ll assist in planning and delivering lessons, provide targeted support to pupils, and help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Your contribution will be key in encouraging confidence, independence, and progress.

You will work closely with teachers to implement structured learning plans and adapt activities to meet individual needs.

This includes supporting pupils in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, helping them overcome barriers to learning and develop essential skills. You’ll also assist with classroom organisation, behaviour management, and lesson preparation, ensuring every child feels safe and supported.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • A minimum of six months of childcare experience, ideally supporting children with additional needs
  • A proactive, patient, and adaptable approach to working with young learners
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential

Experience in SEN support is highly desirable, as you’ll be working with pupils who require additional guidance and encouragement.
