We are seeking a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join a warm, nurturing, and forward-thinking primary campus in Bournemouth.

This position is full time, supporting pupils aged 5 to 12 with a variety of SEN needs. Working hours are 8.30am to 3.30pm.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Support Key Stage 2 pupils with their learning, emotional wellbeing, and personal development

• Work closely with the class teacher to help deliver creative, engaging lessons

• Encourage independence and celebrate individual achievements

• Build positive relationships, ensuring every child feels safe and valued

• Contribute to a calm, supportive classroom atmosphere

What We’re Looking For

• A minimum of 6 months childcare or SEN experience (school, nursery, care or youth work backgrounds welcome)

• Patience, enthusiasm, and the ability to connect with children

• A caring and resilient mindset — someone who wants to empower, not just support

• A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
