We are seeking a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join a warm, nurturing, and forward-thinking primary campus in Bournemouth.

This position is full time, supporting pupils aged 5 to 12 with a variety of SEN needs. Working hours are 8.30am to 3.30pm.
Your Role and Responsibilities

Support Key Stage 2 pupils with their learning, emotional wellbeing, and personal development

Work closely with the class teacher to help deliver creative, engaging lessons

Encourage independence and celebrate individual achievements

Build positive relationships, ensuring every child feels safe and valued

Contribute to a calm, supportive classroom atmosphere
What We’re Looking For

A minimum of 6 months childcare or SEN experience (school, nursery, care or youth work backgrounds welcome)

Patience, enthusiasm, and the ability to connect with children

A caring and resilient mindset — someone who wants to empower, not just support

A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
