The Role:

As a HLTA, you will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 in the absence of the class teacher.
• Lead small group interventions to support progress in literacy, numeracy, and other key subjects.
• Support and guide other TAs and contribute to planning where appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, the SENCO, and leadership team to raise attainment.
• Provide pastoral and academic support to pupils, encouraging positive attitudes and behaviour.

✅ Ideal Candidate:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent (Level 4 or above) required
• Proven experience supporting learning across the primary phase.
• Confident in classroom management and leading whole-class teaching.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, flexible approach.
• Passionate about primary education and committed to inclusive learning.
