- Pay in line with HLTA scale (GBP19,819 - GBP23,111)
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for our partner school in Oldham to cover a maternity leave from September 2020, with an earlier start possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at a state of the art school, located a short drive from Manchester city centre. Initially on a 12 month fixed term basis, there is a strong possibility of a permanent role after the successful completion of the contract due to a strong working relationship with the school.
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) at our partner school in Oldham, the successful candidate will have a proven track record of strong behaviour management and be comfortable delivering ‘booster’ intervention sessions to help raise the attainment and progress of identified students. The principal has high expectations of all students in terms of their academic achievement, but also their emotional and social development. Prospective applicants will ideally have experience of leading both 1:1 and small group sessions, as well as teaching/covering full classes.
