Responsibilities:
As a higher-level teaching assistant, you will be:
- Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN) or disabilities.
- Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers.
- Supervise and support students across various year groups in the absence of their regular class teacher.
- Assist assessments and record keeping as required.
- Assist with the organisation of school trips, events, and enrichment activities.
Candidate specification:
- Qualified teacher status(QTS), relevant degree (usually a bachelor’s in education or a subject related to the one you’ll teach).
- previous experience working with children or in a school environment.
- Can build strong relationships with students and staffs.
- Follow safeguarding protocols and prioritise student safety.
- Confident, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
