Location: Essex, South East
Contract: Permanent/Full Time
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience) + Additional SEN allowance available

A welcoming and faith-driven primary school in Essex is seeking an inspiring Head Teacher to lead their dedicated team. Rooted in strong Catholic values, the school provides a nurturing environment where students grow academically, spiritually, and morally, fostering respect, inclusion, and a sense of community.
About the role:
As Head Teacher, you will be responsible for the strategic leadership and management of the school, ensuring a high standard of education within a faith-based setting. You will guide staff, students, and families in maintaining the school's ethos, delivering an engaging curriculum, and fostering strong links with the wider parish and community.
Essential Requirements:
- Practicing Catholic with a commitment to the teachings and values of the Catholic Church.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and significant teaching experience.
- Leadership Experience (e.g., Deputy Head or Assistant Head role).
- National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) (often desirable but not always mandatory).
- Strong Understanding of Catholic Education and its role in the community.
- Ability to Lead and Inspire Staff and Pupils while fostering a positive school culture.
- Excellent Knowledge of the National Curriculum and educational policies.
- Commitment to Safeguarding and Child Protection, ensuring a safe environment for all pupils.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience in Catholic School Leadership, including involvement in religious education and pastoral care.
- Ability to Develop and Implement Strategic Plans for school improvement.
- Excellent Communication and Relationship-Building Skills, especially with parents, governors, and the parish community.
- Budget Management and Resource Allocation Experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
