One of Teaching Personnel's partnership Secondary Schools are seeking a Head of Performing Arts Teacher to join them potentially as early as Easter or September, in the Aylesbury area.
This is one of the most popular secondary schools in the Buckinghamshire area and prides itself on being oversubscribed every year for school places. The school have growing student numbers and currently offer high quality education to KS3, and will expand into KS4 in September.
The Ofsted is currently 'Good' but is establishing itself to be graded as Outstanding in their next inspection.
In the current climate, the school have set up a rigourous testing site on their grounds and have a huge cohort of students who are being supported in the school premises throughout this lockdown period.
Teaching Personnel Northants Branch have successfully placed 7 staff this Academic Year on a Temp to Perm contract at this school, where every Teacher and Support Staff member have nothing but positive feedback about their time working in the school.
The school are keen to recruit an established Performing Arts Teacher to take on the Head of Department role from Easter or September.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong classroom management
- Good sense of humour
- Good motivational skills, especially for KS3
- Good knowledge of IT based learning
- Excellent Mathematics knowledge
- Qualified Teacher Status

The pay for this role will be dependent on experience but Teaching Personnel have a fantastic rapport with both teachers and schools across the local area meaning you will be looked after throughout the process.
Candidates will be required to attend an online interview to register. We will need to gain two references (academic/professional) and hold an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service certificate (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you).
