Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a large state funded secondary school who are currently in the process of moving from requires improvement to Good based on their latest Ofsted report.
This role is suitable for an experienced teacher of PE who is looking to take their first steps into managing a large and successful department. The school have a high applicant rate for PE at GCSE, which grows year on year due to the high quality teaching and the great relationships built between staff and students. The school have a very active extra curricular programme with all sports being supported and the chance to begin any other extra curricular clubs being fully supported by SLT provided there are enough students interested to warrant this.
The school is a large oversubscribed secondary school with 1200 students on roll and hopes to continue expanding the school site further in order to cater for the growing demand in the area. As such the school is in a constant state of expansion within multiple departments English, Maths and PE included.
