Teaching Personnel is working with a secondary school in Alton seeking a confident, motivated Cover Supervisor to join their team as soon as possible. This is the perfect opportunity to gain hands‑on experience, develop essential teaching skills and take your first step toward a rewarding career in education.


The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play an essential role in supporting learning across the school. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising classes when teachers are absent
  • Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials
  • Ensuring pupils stay engaged, focused and on-task
  • Managing behaviour in line with school policies
  • Helping create a positive and productive learning environment
  • Building valuable classroom experience for future teacher training

This is a varied and rewarding position, offering excellent exposure across different year groups and subjects.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
