Teaching Personnel is supporting a secondary school in Andover seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join their team immediately. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the classroom while developing the skills needed for a future in teaching.


The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will have a key role in maintaining learning during teacher absences. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials across a variety of subjects
  • Supervising classes and ensuring pupils remain engaged and on task
  • Managing behaviour in line with school policies
  • Supporting students and promoting a positive learning environment
  • Building invaluable classroom experience ahead of teacher training

This role is highly regarded as one of the best stepping stones into teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
