What You’ll Do as a Cover Supervisor

  • Deliver pre‑prepared lesson plans in the teacher’s absence
  • Supervise classrooms across a range of subjects and year groups
  • Maintain a positive learning environment and manage behaviour effectively
  • Support pupils with tasks and encourage active participation
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff after each lesson
  • Build classroom experience essential for teaching, youth work, or school‑based careers
