Teaching Personnel are recruiting Cover Supervisors to join secondary schools in Andover, with immediate starts available. This role is perfect for individuals who are enthusiastic, confident, and keen to support young people — with no formal teaching qualifications required.


The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Deliver pre‑planned lessons to classes in the absence of the teacher
  • Manage behaviour and maintain a positive, focused learning environment
  • Support students with their learning and ensure work is completed
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of each lesson
  • Work across different subjects and year groups, building valuable experience

This is a fantastic stepping stone into roles such as Teacher Training, Learning Support, or long‑term school‑based careers.
