Teaching Personnel is working closely with a number of welcoming and supportive secondary schools in Andover who are seeking graduate Cover Supervisors to start ASAP. These roles offer part-time, full-time and flexible working options, making them ideal for graduates exploring teaching as a long-term career or those seeking valuable classroom experience alongside other commitments.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in secondary education while developing confidence in classroom management and behaviour leadership.

The Role – Graduate Cover Supervisor

As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom to supervise students during teacher absences, delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring a calm, focused learning environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising classes across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Delivering set work and following lesson plans provided by teaching staff
  • Managing behaviour positively and maintaining high classroom standards
  • Supporting student engagement and progress during lessons
  • Following safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times

No formal teaching qualification or QTS is required.
