The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom to deliver pre‑planned lessons in the absence of the usual teacher. Your key responsibilities include:
- Supervising classes across a range of subjects
- Managing behaviour to ensure a calm, productive learning environment
- Supporting students with their learning and keeping them on task
- Ensuring work is completed and returned to the relevant department
- Being a positive role model for students aged 11–16
This role is ideal for those who enjoy working with young people, have strong communication skills and can build positive relationships quickly.
