Cover Supervisor – Basingstoke – Start ASAP

(Graduates • Future Teachers • Flexible/Full Time/Part Time)

Teaching Personnel are seeking enthusiastic, confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to join secondary schools across Basingstoke, available to start ASAP.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom to deliver pre‑planned lessons in the absence of the usual teacher. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising classes across a range of subjects
  • Managing behaviour to ensure a calm, productive learning environment
  • Supporting students with their learning and keeping them on task
  • Ensuring work is completed and returned to the relevant department
  • Being a positive role model for students aged 11–16

This role is ideal for those who enjoy working with young people, have strong communication skills and can build positive relationships quickly.
