Are you in your final year of university and unsure what to do next?

Have you thought about a career in teaching but not sure whether you want to commit to a PGCE?

Would you like to gain a paid direct teacher training placement to become a qualified teacher without the need of a PGCE?

Our ‘future teachers’ programme is a great opportunity to gain a term or more experience within a secondary school to learn the basics of teaching, including one-to-one support, planning of lessons, teaching to a variety of age groups/class sizes, and marking. With a competitive rate of pay, this a fantastic chance to develop your skills, and discover what type of teaching appeals to you. We have recently partnered with the UK’s largest trust in order to offer recent graduates a paid route into becoming a qualified teacher – no more student loans!

As the leading recruitment agency in the teaching sector, we work with other 90% of schools in the local area. Therefore, we are adept at finding the perfect school for each individual graduate. We offer prior meetings with schools, in order to meet the staff and students and see the premises to see if the right fit.

Schools are recruiting for graduates in a variety of fields, particularly for core subjects of Maths, Science and English. Other areas that would be highly desirable are; Psychology, Business, Computing, Humanities, Spanish, French, MFL, Sports and Drama/Performing Arts graduates. We are currently recruiting for an introductory terms placement from Easter 2024, and for year long positions in September 2024. Both part-time and full-time roles can be accommodated.

Requirements:

  • Degree in any field
  • Experience working with children (either professionally or voluntarily) would be desirable
  • Friendly and approachable nature
  • Subject to clearance of a child-only DBS check

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
