Graduate Teaching Assistants Required

Are you soon to graduate and looking to take your first steps into a career in teaching? If so then becoming a graduate teaching Assistant is a great way to gain valuable experience while you earn and network. These roles help you gain an insight of what working in a secondary school environment is really like and also look great on your CV for when you make your move to a more senior teaching role.

At Teaching personnel we are on the look out for recent or soon to be graduates in the Oldham area, this is a great way to earn extra money around your studies while also gaining valuable experience, some of your duties may include:

  • Assisting with effective teaching of the pupils in a secondary school class room
  • Enforcing class rules and helping to promote good behaviour
  • Assisting in the planning and marking of class work
  • Working with students in a group situation or on a 1:1 basis

Our client school is a large school in Oldham, rated good by Ofsted and would be a great place for any graduate looking to take a step into teaching. Whether this is by working as a graduate teaching assistant, learning support, behaviour support or as a cover supervisor, this would be an excellent opportunity for anybody looking to gain experience while also earning up to £300 a week. The school has state of the art facilities and will provide everything needed to help you grow as a graduate teaching assistant and gain the experience needed to become a successful teacher in the future.
