Teaching Personnel have a Graduate teaching assistant opportunity at one of our client schools located in South Manchester.

As a graduate teaching assistant, this is the perfect opportunity to gain further experience working within education to help make your mind up if you wish to pursue a career as a secondary teacher in the future. Within this role you will be required to support the learning and development of a number of pupils aged 11-16 across all curriculum areas.

***Applicants are required to be educated to degree level and have previous experience related to supporting pupils within education***

This graduate teaching assistant role is a full time position from September 2019, whereby you will be employed for the full academic year (September 2019 - July 2020).

  • Graduate teaching assistant role - Secondary school
  • Supporting pupils across a range of subjects including; Maths, English and Science
  • Ideal opportunity for those considering applying to a teacher training course in the future
  • Earn up to £1300 per month
  • Located in South Manchester near to Wythenshawe

Due to an increase in pupils joining this school next year, the Headteacher of this high achieving school hopes to appoint an additional teaching assistant who can enhance pupils learning and development. This school wish to appoint a graduate who is empathetic, energetic and passionate about education.

Responsibilities of these graduate teaching assistant roles will include;

  • Supporting various learners ranging in ability within various subjects and departments
  • Working 1:1 with pupils, in smaller dedicated groups and deliver pre-planned subject specific lessons where required with full guidance and support
  • Positively engaging pupils through dynamic support with teaching and learning

This school is easily accessible via the M56 motorway and is a short drive from Manchester Airport. For non-driver, the school is located close to good transport links which are accessible from in and around Manchester, neighbouring Trafford, Altrincham, and Stockport.
