Graduate Teaching Assistant

Our partner Secondary School in Manchester are currently in search for graduates to join their core subject departments to support learning and attainment.

The mixed comprehensive Secondary School, in central Manchester believe that every student should have access to a first class education, and due to this wish to appoint graduates within English, Maths and Science to work with pupils across KS3 and KS4 in small groups and on a 1:1 basis. The role will incorporate working with pupils with additional learning needs, pupils who are ‘gifted and talented’ and those who require additional support to remain engaged in lessons.

• GBP60 - GBP70 per day
• Located in central Manchester, close to public transportation links
• Full support from the subject department
• Fantastic experience to support any future PGCE application

The Secondary School has over 900 pupils and prides themselves upon consistently being rated ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding’ features by Ofsted. They are currently offering this graduate position on a temporary full time basis, initially beginning in September for one term. This opportunity could extend for the appointed graduate, dependent on their success throughout the role.
