Are you a recent graduate looking to gain experience within a secondary school setting?

Are you looking to go onto your PGCE in the future with the view of pursuing a teaching career?

Teaching Personnel are the leading recruitment agency for Education, covering England and Wales. Our Sheffield secondary office is located in Sheffield city centre, and services the majority of Secondary schools across Sheffield. Our client secondary school is seeking Graduates to work as TA's within schools, offering academic support. The modern secondary school is located in North Sheffield and is easily accessible by car, and has good public transport links from Sheffield city centre.

As a Graduate TA, you will be supporting the department of your subject specialism. You will be working with pupils both inside the classroom, supporting the classroom teacher, and outside the classroom, providing intervention and support to specific pupils. You will be working with pupils both on a 1:1 and small group basis. The successful Graduate TA will display a sufficient level of behavioural management, where they can competently engage pupils within small groups.

Main Points of Graduate TA role:

  • Full time and part time positions available
  • Immediate start on offer
  • Pay rate £275 - £300 per week
  • Outstanding Ofsted graded school
  • Work with supportive senior teachers

The forward thinking Secondary school is seeking Graduates to work as TA's across the school in various subject areas, especially within the core subject departments of English, Maths and Science. The Outstanding Sheffield School sets high standards for both pupils and teachers, encouraging all within the school environment to strive for success and reach their full potential. The secondary school has a great emphasis on support and mentoring teachers and support staff with relatively little experience, with heads of department facilitating a supportive culture.
