Graduate Teaching Assistant - Hounslow, West London - Full time - October start - Great opportunity in an outstanding school!

Are you looking for an opportunity to develop and build your experience within an educational setting? Teaching Personnel work closely with schools across the UK to provide them with dedicated candidates that specialise in a number of different areas. 

We are currently recruiting for a graduate teaching assistant to work within an outstanding school in Hounslow. If you have a degree in Psychology, Sociology, English or Education this is the role for you...

What is a graduate teaching assistant?

As a graduate teaching assistant you will be building experience by working across a range of different classes, providing general classroom support. This will also including running group sessions and one to one support, depending on the needs of the class. This role will allow you to build up experience in the classroom, solidifying your knowledge of the national curriculum and your management of student's within a classroom. 

The school will allow you the opportunity to tailor your experience in areas that you wish to specialise in, including giving you the opportunity to continue to develop and train - including having the facilities to do your teacher training if suitable. 

The ideal candidate?

- Passionate and dedicated candidate with the drive to develop. 

- Confident working alongside different members of students and staff.

- Able to support the teacher by running different intervention/group sessions. 

- Ideally a Psychology, Sociology, English or Education Graduate. 

This school is a large three form entry school that has received outstanding feedback and marks from Ofsted, they were recognised for their dedication to improving education standards for all students in a number of different areas across the school. They have a number of opportunities for all members of staff to develop and progress, offering training sessions and teacher training opportunities for suitable members of staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
