We are recruiting a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in a hybrid Teaching Assistant and Cover Supervisor role. This is the perfect opportunity to build classroom confidence, develop your teaching skills and strengthen your teacher training application.

As part of this varied role, you'll support students as a Teaching Assistant while also covering lessons when required. You'll receive a higher daily rate on the days you work as a Cover Supervisor, rewarding you for taking on additional classroom responsibilities.

The Role

• Support students in lessons through one-to-one and small group interventions.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive learning.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons as a Cover Supervisor in the absence of teaching staff.
• Build positive relationships with students and promote excellent behaviour.
• Gain experience across a range of curriculum subjects.
