Job description

This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...

We are looking to register Qualified Teachers with specialisms in all areas for exclusive access to September roles in Primary or Secondary SEN schools.

Teaching Personnel's specialist Special Educational Needs branch work with a number of schools in the Greater Manchester area, which includes SEN Schools, Behaviour Provisions, Pupil Referral Units and Autism Specialism schools.
In the run up to summer, these schools will start to inform us of their available Teaching roles for September.
That's where you come in; if you have QTS at Primary or Secondary level, and want to specialise in SEN, we want to hear from you.

You will have the benefit of being showcased by our specialised Marketing schools and give first hand opportunity to interview and trial for available roles.

We're open to all subject specialisms, but we do prefer that you have some knowledge or experience (professional or personal) of SEN or SEMH needs.
Training in courses such as Autism Awareness and Team Teach are all very useful and actively sought by schools. Courses of this type can be delivered by Teaching Personnel and are at an astonishing 80% reduced rate!
Teaching Personnel also offer a temp-to-perm contract for permanent roles, where staff are classed as a Teaching Personnel staff member and paid through ourselves throughout the probation period of a permanent role. This can offer the opportunity to get a feel for the role and school and whether its right for you.

To apply, please send your up to date CV and a cover letter stating your skills, and specialisms as a Teacher. Please also include your experience with SEN or your interest in this area.

Please be aware, ALL staff working through Teaching Personnel MUST have a child only enhanced DBS which is registered to the update system. This can be obtained via Teaching Personnel for all registered candidates. You must also be able to provide your QTS certificate or disclose the date you will obtain one if you are in final year.
